The world as we know is changing and as it does, we may be left with feelings of unease, instability and plain old fear.
The thought of stepping into the unknown becomes in itself a blockage that ripples throughout our life. Stopping us from experiencing our true potential. Stopping us from having the courage to seek our own truths. We instead choose to become influenced by events and people around us as a distraction from not looking too closely at our own selves.
We try to look for the solutions to our happiness in all the wrong places when really, it needs to be discovered within.
I get that it is easier me saying that than necessarily accomplishing it. I get that we get so weighted down in what we ‘think’ we know about ourselves that we forget there may just be another reality. A better reality. One that is closer to who we really are, who we were born to be.
So how do we get closer to the truth of what that is? How do we overcome our own self-placed boundaries and begin to see ourselves for who we really are?
How do we separate our sane from the crazy around us?[divider style=”10″]
3 Tips to maintaining a saner you
1. Keep your energy clear:
It is not hard to imagine in such a crazy would how easy it is for us to become influenced by all types of energy as we go about our day. From residue from the thoughts and feelings of others, to the residue of the places you visit throughout your day. It all has the ability to stick to our energy field, our aura and seep into our thoughts and our own feeling – Positive and negative both. It can kinda get you feeling a little crazy!
So I can’t stress enough how important it is to cleanse your energy as many times a week as you can with these really simply cleansing techniques.
BATHING: Submerging yourself in water a couple of time a week will do wonders in washing away the built-up energy residue you pick up every day. This will cleanse your aura and chakras and believe me, you will notice the difference! A swim or a bath is ideal for this and sorry to say, showers just won’t have the same cleansing effect.
SMUDGE: Grab some white sage from your local new age shops or online. It is an ancient old technique for cleansing and once lit simple layer the outside of your body with the smoke. I would suggest you do this a couple of times of week, and just like the bathing, you will begin to notice the difference.
2. Deep breathing or meditation:
Meditation does wonders for calming the emotions and if you find that too hard then simply deep circular breathing will be okay too. Both have a tonne of benefits, too many to list here and ultimately both can be big contributors in creating a balanced body, mind and spirit.
You don’t have to start with anything too long and just taking 5 minutes out of your day to do some type of breathing or meditation technique will totally begin your transformation and get you thinking and acting clearer in no time.
And the best thing, you can increase this into longer times week after week!
3. Delete and choose again:
Whoever said we can’t control our thoughts? We can and it is just a matter of choosing to be responsible for them. To choose to have control. Now I’m not saying that you aren’t going to have random up helpful thoughts just jump into your head – of course you are. It is more the point of, are you going to allow them to stay?
Each time you find yourself having an unhelpful thought simple say to yourself “I delete and I choose again”. Then allow yourself to have a more helpful thought to replace it instead. It will be a process and one that you will have to work out and it is not easy. It is absolutely achievable and will have you thinking clearer and more positive with each new day.
As you can see, the tips I’ve given you above are simple and easy to follow. I could give you more and instead I feel this will be a really great start for you!
We all want to have what is best for us in our life. Well that begins with taking care of ourselves first above anything else. To get a little sane back into our world and doing these techniques it will make a huge difference I promise.
The clearer we get, the more balanced we will feel and most importantly, the more open we will become in hearing the call of the universe. The call of our soul…
